Four advantages of using pocket-holes:
1. Reduced amount of time and clamps needed for a project
2. Once the holes are drilled & glue is applied the screws hold the two pieces tightly together (allowing ample time for the glue to set and the boards to remain aligned)
3. Ease of use (some forms of joinery require difficult cuts and experience to complete)
